A: Yes, Mars Mission Clock runs just fine on both the iPad and iPad2.
We are developing an iPad version (actually a Universal app).
You can get yours as part of a free update when it is available.

A: Days on Mars are called Sols
On average, each Martian Sol is 24 hours 39 minutes 35.24409 seconds.
